Romney: le discours d’acceptation

Kerry Healy, qui fut Lieutenant-Governor du Massachusetts sous Mitt Romney, a elle-même livré à la Convention Républicaine un discours qui va un peu plus loin:

Mitt Romney understands that the world is a safer place when our country leads, and he will never apologize for America.

C’est sans doute là l’opinion qui prévaut en Amérique du Nord, mais je doute que les 1500 M de Musulmans et les 1300 M de Chinois soient d’accord. D’ailleurs, ils ne sont pas les seuls à en douter…

Une Amérique unie? Faudrait demander à cette camerawoman de CNN ce qu’elle en pense, après que deux délégués Républicains bon teint lui eurent lancé des pinottes.  “This is how we feed animals”, ont-ils dit à la dame, une Afro-Américaine.

Ces deux imbéciles ont été expulsés, j’en conviens; ils n’en symbolisent pas moins cette image de racistes crasseux que trop de Républicains projettent de leur Parti.

Une Amérique si puissante qu’aucune autre Nation n’osera la défier? Gee! Le dépotoir de l’Histoire est rempli de ces Empires que nul ne saurait défier tant ils étaient puissants. Les derniers en date? L’empire britannique, qui s’est effondré sous son propre poids. Le Troisième Reich, qui s’est effondré sous le poids de son arrogance et de la riposte qu’elle a suscitée. L’Empire soviétique, qui s’est effondré quand un pape à moitié impotent a soufflé  sur le Rideau de fer derrière lequel il cachait sa nudité… et son dénuement.

Les Chinois peuvent l’acheter avec leur p’tit change, cette Amérique Impériale qui n’a plus les moyens de ses ambitions. Et l’autre crisse de Mormon moron s’imagine qu’il va pouvoir continuer de défier le monde, à crédit, sans augmenter ni le déficit gargantuesque ni les impôts? Shit, on croirait entendre François Legault et sa pensée magique!
